Aquadeo’s history

Aquadeo is a resort village on the northern shore of Jackfish Lake, in the Rural Municipality of Meota No. 468. It lies about 40 kilometres north of North Battleford.

The community became an incorporated resort village on January 1, 1988. Its name is a blend of two words, "aquatic" and "rodeo."

Today the Resort Village of Aquadeo is run by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator, who meet on the third Wednesday of every month.
